Project Proposal — v1.0
Right now, Infinity Hybrid operates two separate websites to serve four regional markets — UK and EU from infinityhybrid.com, and Australia/New Zealand and the US/Canada from a second site. This splits your marketing data, doubles your design and maintenance workload, and risks customers landing on the wrong site in the wrong currency.
Everything you need already exists within your .com. It's built on WordPress and WooCommerce, already supports GBP, EUR, and AUD, and with one specialist plugin, we can bring all four regions under a single, beautifully managed website — without losing any of the regional specificity you currently rely on.
Multi Location Inventory Management for WooCommerce — Plugincy
Customers are automatically detected and placed in the right region the moment they land on the site.
UK, EU, AUS, and US inventory tracked independently from one central dashboard.
Royal Mail, Sendcloud, Shippo, and AUS carrier — each only shown to customers in that region.
US sales route to the US LLC. All other sales route to the BV entity. Automatic, no workarounds.
GBP, EUR, and AUD are already live. USD will be added for the US and Canada region.
A new WooCommerce REST API key generated directly on the .com replaces the existing warehouse connection.
Eight phases from audit to go-live
Before any development work begins on the website, we capture a complete picture of both sites so nothing is missed during migration. Every product, variant, stock level, price (in USD and AUD), and active discount on the current US/AUS site will be documented and cross-referenced against the .com.
We'll also confirm the payment processor setup for both legal entities so the gateway split is built correctly from day one.
Install and activate the plugin on infinityhybrid.com, then build out four location profiles — each with its own inventory rules, shipping, pricing, and payment setup:
Automatic geolocation will be enabled so customers are assigned to the correct region instantly. A visible location switcher will also be added to the storefront for customers who want to select a region manually.
USD will be added as the fourth active currency (alongside the existing GBP, EUR, and AUD). Payment gateway routing will then be configured so that US and Canada orders process through the US LLC account, and all other orders process through the BV entity — exactly as your two businesses require.
Test transactions will be run across all four regions before moving on to Phase 4.
Each of the four shipping platforms will be connected to its corresponding location profile:
Each carrier will only appear to customers in its assigned region at checkout. No UK customer will see Shippo; no US customer will see Royal Mail.
Using the plugin's CSV bulk import tool, stock quantities will be assigned per location across all products. Products that exist only on the US/AUS site will be created on the .com first, then stocked. Products that sell in all four regions are marked as global. Products exclusive to one region can be hidden from other storefronts.
This phase is the most data-dependent — which is exactly why the audit in Phase 1 comes first.
The existing US/AUS domain(s) will be pointed to infinityhybrid.com using permanent 301 redirects. This means any Google rankings, backlinks, or bookmarks pointing to the old site pass their value to the .com with no loss. Customers arriving at the old domain are seamlessly redirected and automatically placed in their correct region.
Redirects will be confirmed in Google Search Console to protect your search visibility.
Every region gets a full end-to-end test using location simulation. For each of the four markets we verify:
Nothing goes live until every region passes without issue.
The second website is placed into maintenance mode — not deleted, kept as a safety net for 30 days. The .com goes live as the single destination for all four regions. We'll monitor closely for the first two weeks, watching for any order routing, payment, or shipping anomalies.
After 30 days of stable operation, the second website can be formally retired.
